Configure standard IMG activities. If a General Configuration error occurs, you must resolve it and configure again. You can also perform all IMG activities from the error, manually.
You have:
- created the user and its authorizations.
- assigned an S User to your user.
- not yet performed any SAP Solution Manager basic configuration. If there is a Service Desk/Issue Tracking/Maintenance Optimizer configuration, it is reset, e.g. the number range interval is reset.
You can perform the steps performed by this wizard, manually, in the basic settings of the extended configuration.
Perform the activity. It sends a status or error message .
The report performs 4 steps:
- Activate BC Set
- If an error occurs, the following error message is issued: "Activation of BC Sets cancelled, see IMG long text". Perform the following IMG activities manually:
- Activate Service Desk BC Set
- Activate Issue Monitoring BC Set
- Set-Up Maintenance Optimizer
- Change Online Documentation Settings
- Activate Solution Manager Services
- Activate Integration with Change Request Management
- Define Service Desk Connection in Solution Manager System
- If an error occurs, the following error message is issued: " SAP Service Marketplace access error. See IMG long text". Perform the following IMG activities manually:
- If an error occurs, the following error message is issued: "Error generating Screen Profile. See IMG long text". Perform the following IMGactivities manually:
- If an error occurs, the following error message is issued: "Error copying by piece list. See IMG long text". Perform the following IMG activities manually. Only perform the piece list actions . The BC Sets have already been activated.
