SOLMAN_HC_COMMUSER - Assign Role to Technical User

This IMG activity sets up a technical user to get write access to the Knowledge Warehouse of the SAP Solution Manager, from the managed system.

Create User

1. Enter a user name, for example HELPUSER.

Note: The user name must be in the RFC connection in the managed system.

1. Choose user type Communication.
2. Assign a password.

Note: The password must be in the RFC connection in the managed system.

1. Save.

Assign Role to a User

Assign the following role to the technical user:

• SAP_SM_HELP_CENTER

Complete the role, generate the profile, and compare the users.
