SOLMAN_IC_ORGMOD - Create Organizational Model

In this step, you create an organizational model (organizational structure). You can assign attributes to your organizational units in this step. We recommend that you only use this step if you are actually creating a new organizational model. If you want to enhance or change an existing organization, or assign new attributes to individual organizational units, you do this in activity Change Organizational Model.

If you are using the IC WebClient for end users and/or employees (processors), you should embed a further hierarchy level of the organizational structure (subdividing organizational units).

1. Create a new organizational unit with the name IC WebClient.
2. Choose IC WebClient Root Org as the description.
3. Save.

Create Subdividing Organizational Units for IC WebClient for End Users and Employees

1. Under the organizational root, create two further organizational units for end users and employees.
2. To do this, select the organizational root and choose Create.
3. Choose is line superior of as the subordinate organizational unit.
4. Save your entries.
