This setup activity activates the "Executable Variants" function, with the BAdI implementation TRANVAR.

You can then create a variant in the "Transactions" tab, for each of the basis objects it contains, to document their uses.

You can, for example, use three executable variants of the transaction SOLAR02 to document the configuration of a process or customer developments, or to write test cases. When the variant is executed, it only calls the basis object, here the transaction SOLAR02, but you can record a TBOM for each variant. You can also create a test case for each variant, in the "Test Cases" tab, and link it to the variant.
