SOLMAN_INC_PERS_MAIL - Activate Actions for Personalized E-Mails

This Customizing activity changes the values of the three processing parameters of the action definition SMIN_STD_MAIL_FORM of action profile SMIN_STD. These parameters are:

MAIL_FORM_TEMPLATE, optional. The Mail form assigned to this parameter is used by default. If the program cannot determine the mail form template from the category editor, it uses the template in this parameter. If, for example, only one mail form template is to be used for the E-Mail, assign it to this parameter.

DEFAULT_SENDER_EMAIL, the value displayed as the E-Mail mail sender. If this parameter has no value, the program uses the E-Mail addresse of the processor.

The third parameter, USE_TRACKING_ID, is optional, and not relevant for the default scenario.

To change these parameters, proceed as follows:

1. Perform this Customizing activity.

2. Choose the action profile SMIN_STD, or a copy of it, in the initial screen.

3. Select the table entry for this action profile, and Action Definition in the dialog structure to the left of the screen.

4. Select the action definition SMIN_STD_MAIL_FORM, or the copy of it.

You go to the Action Definition screen.

5. Choose Processing Types, in the dialog structure to the left of the screen.

You go to the Processing Typesscreen.

6. Under Settings, choose Call Method, and Edit, for the method SEND_MAIL_WITH_MAIL_FORMS .

7. Change the parameter values.

8. Save your entries and choose Back.

9. Reset the Inactive column for the action definition SMIN_STD_ MAIL_FORM.
