This section tells you the configuration steps required to monitor a TREX system from release 7.1 in the central monitoring system (CEN).

1. Call the transaction RZ21 in CEN.
2. Choose Techn. Infrastructure → Configure Central System → Create Entry for Remote Monitoring.
3. Choose TREX in Component type to be monitored.
4. Enter the following system and connection data for the TREX system to be monitored:

• System ID

• TREX system host (server)

• TREX system instance number

Choose Continue (Enter).

1. Enter the password of the user CSMREG in CEN, in the Central System CSMREG User group box.
2. Enter the password of an administration user at operating system level, in the Operating System User in the Host of the Monitored System group box. This is the user adm.

You need this authentification because the web service call to register a component in CEN is protected.
