BI-based reporting IT Performance Reporting analyzes performance and use monitoring data and statistics over a specified period. The data can be displayed as an overview or in detail.

The IT Reporting Suite is a collection of such reports. You can access it from the work center System Monitoring with IT Performance Reporting in the Solution Manager, when you have configured the IT Reporting Suite.

Specify BI client

To be able to use BI reporting, you must specify a BI client. If you use BI, it should be your BI client.

The BI client should not be the SAP Solution Manager client. You can also perform IT Performance Reporting with a copied Solution Manager client.

BI content

You have imported BI Content 703 SP8.

Roles in BI client

To be able to set-up IT Performance Reporting in the BI client and see reports, you must have assigned the following roles to your user, in the BI client:

Configuration: SAP_BW_CCMS_SETUP and SAP_PI_CCMS_SETUP

Display: SAP_BW_CCMS_REPORTING

Solution Manager Roles

As you call IT Performance Reporting from Solution Manager Work Center System Monitoring, you must have assigned the following roles to your users in the Solution Manager:

SAP_SMWORK_SYS_MON

SAP_SMWORK_BASIC

The IT Reporting Suite and setup will be integrated into the Solution Manager work center #Sytem Monitoring#. The Suite will be accessible via button (BI Reporting # text is subject to change) in the Reporting View, as shown below:

If the reporting infrastructure on BI is set up and configured, a button#IT Performance Reporting# will be visible in the view #Reporting# in the Solution Manager work center #System Monitoring#. Description:

#Set up and configured# means that the web application templates for the reporting suite are active and the cubes (0CPH_HOUR, 0CCMSATIM) are filled.
