SOLMAN_KW_EXTERN - Assign RFC Destination to Document Area

To be able to display dynamic content from a Knowledge Warehouse system (for example Online Help), the RFC destination of the Knowledge Warehouse system must be defined as a display destination.

The RFC destination for the Knowledge Warehouse system must be maintained (Transaction SM59).

Enter the RFC destination of the Knowledge Warehouse system as display destination for each document area whose content you wish to display.

Enter the value NONE as maintenance destination.

Do not make an entry in the 'Web server' field. This field is maintained in the Knowledge Warehouse system. The remaining fields are also only relevant in the Knowledge Warehouse system and are maintained there.

Activity for connecting an external Knowlegde Warehouse to your Solution Manager

In your Solution Manager system, in transaction Define Document Area, assign the RFC destination you have created in IMG activity Create RFC from Solution Manager to external Knowledge Warehouse to the following document areas :

• IWBASAP (roadmap topics and accelerator documents)

• IWBSOLAR (all other Solution Manager documents)
