SOLMAN_QCSD_WEBSERSD - Release Web Service for Enhanced Service Desk Interface

This IMG activity releases a web service for the extended Service Desk.

You have created a Communication user for the web service.

1. Choose Administration of Individual Services in the Application and Scenario Documentation tab.
2. Enter the following data:

• Search for: Service

• Search term: ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API_MQC

1. Start the search.
2. Select the service and choose Apply Selection.
3. Chooe the Configuration tab in the detail screen, and create a service with Create Service.
4. Enter the following data:

• Service name: ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API_MQC

• Description: ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API_MQC

• Binding name: ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API_MQC

1. Confirm your entries with Copy Settings.
2. Choose your service, and Edit, to make the security settings.
3. Select No Authentification under Authentification Settings, to assign the communication user.
4. Enter the communication user and its password under ABAP Service User.
5. Save.
