This IMG activity creates a technical user for WSDL access in a subsequent configuration step with Restricted Authorization .

For roles and authorization, see the SAP Solution Manager security guide in the Service Marketplace -> SAP Components -> SAP Solution Manager <current release>

Create user

  1. Enter a user name, e.g.: QCALIAS, in the user maintenance.
  2. Choose the user type System.
  3. Give the user a password and save.

Assign role to a user

  1. Copy the role SAP_QC_WSDL_ACCESS in the role maintenance, and assign the copy to the user.
Ensure that the profile for this role is generated, and the users compared.
  1. Save.
