You can integrate the functions of Defect Management for the Quality Center, with the functions of the Service Desk in Solution Manager.

You have:

  • Performed all activities to Set-Up theQuality Center and Integration Test Management
  • Configured the Service Desk or Service Desk for IT service providers
  • Partially configured the interface for the integration of a third party Service Desk. Perform the following steps first, in this order:
  1. Release Web Service
Perform the activities in the Activities section of this IMG activity.
Assign the technical user which you created in the IMG activity Assign Roles to Technical User, in the Logon Data tab in the Service ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API.
  1. Create Logical Port
Perform the activities in the Activities section of this IMG activity.
Note: Enter the following URL in the tab: : //EIServer/services/ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API?wsdl>, with the QC server and server port in the :// : fields.
  1. Configure Interface
Perform the activities in the Activities section of this IMG activity.
Perform the following activities:
  • select the connection to the Quality Center, and select the field External System is HP Quality Center.

  • Only a) in Value Map Definition -> Solution Manager <-> External Service Desk
