SAP Active Global Support delivers services in your Solution Manager. They require an up-to-date version of the component ST-SER.

To check whether the service tools in your system are up-to-date, they are compared with the current version in the SAP Service Marketplace. This is just an enquiry from the SAP Service Marketplace; your data is not saved at SAP.

  1. Create an RFC connection of type "H".
  2. Name the new connection, e.g. "SAP-SMP".
  3. Maintain the following attributes in the "Technical Settings" tab:
  • Target host: websmp230.sap-ag.de

  • Service no. 80

  • Path prefix: /sap/bc/bsp/spn/swdc/slm/

  1. Enter the following attributes in the "Logon and Security" tab:
  • Client: 001

  • User and password of your S user in the SAP Service Marketplace

  1. Save the new RFC connection.

Create logical port for proxy class CO_DSWP_CI_BORM_SWDC_API_SLM_S

Create a new logical port for the proxy class CO_DSWP_CI_BORM_SWDC_API_SLM_S.

  1. Name the logical port "SAP-SMP" and flag it as the default port.
  2. Enter the following call parameters:
  • HTTP destination: e.g. "SAP-SMP"

  • Path suffix: accessctrl.do

  1. Save and activate the new logical port.
