SAP E-Book

The logical port specifies the server on which SAP Productivity Pak by RWD is installed. It transfers the data to SAP Productivity Pak. The Web AS HTTP or HTTPS port is used, depending on the URL.

The transfer of large amounts of data can break the connection, if the maximum allowed processing time for the Web AS port is exceeded. You can set the maximum processing time in the parameter icm/server_prot_<x> in the application server instance profile, where <x> is a counter. The parameter PROCTIMEOUT is set for the protocol (HTTP or HTTPS). The value should be at least 300.

Example: icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP, PORT=50010, PROCTIMEOUT=300

To set these parameters, proceed as described in the IMG activity Maintain Profile Parameters.

  1. Choose Web Service Administration in the Business Administration tab.
  2. Enter the following data:
  • Search for: Consumer Proxy

  • Search term: CO_AGS_PDP_U_PERFORM_INTEGRAT1

  1. Start the search.
  2. Choose the Consumer proxy, and Apply Selection.
  3. Go to the Configuration tab.
  4. Create the logical port.
  5. Enter a service name and logical port.
  6. Flag the Logical Port field as default.
  7. Enter the following URL: http://: /uPerformWS/uPerformIntegrationWS.asmx?WSDL
  8. Enter a user and password.
  9. Save.
