SOLMAN_SCHDL_BACK_JO - Schedule Background Job

This IMG activity schedules background jobs. The process chains control extraction, transfer and loading of data from the SAP Solution Manager into the BI InfoCube.

1. Choose the process chain plan view.

If you are calling this transaction for the first time, a dialog box appears. Choose Network.

1. Choose SAP Solution Manager Init. under SAP Solution Manager in the left-hand hierarchy tree, to initialize the process chains.
2. Choose Execute → Schedule.

A dialog box in which you can specify the priority for the job now appears.

1. Choose the priority with which the job is to run.
2. Confirm.

This job only has to be scheduled once, for initialization.

1. Choose Logs to monitor the loading procedure.
2. After initialization, use the chain SAP Solution Manager Delta.
3. Choose Schedule.
   This job must be scheduled periodically. It should run once a week.
