You analyze problems after configuring the solution database for the Service Desk, with this information.

You have performed all configuration steps described.

Check whether solutions created can be put in the solution database of a message, as follows:

  1. Choose the transaction CRMD_ORDER.
  2. Choose Transaction Data and then the Solution Database tab.
  3. Go to change mode and choose Find.
  4. Enter the solution text and confirm.
The problem and solution should appear in the dialog box.
  1. Select the solution which you want to copy, and confirm.
The solution appears in the solution database tab.

The following problem occurs after the configuration:

Although the solution appears in the solution database search, you cannot select it.

Solution: The index is either not compiled, or there is an older index. Clean-up and re-create the existing index.

Although the solution is created, it is not found in the solution database.

Solution:

  • Set the problem-solution combination to "RELEASED".
  • The solution database customizing is incomplete

Problem message: Problem xxx does not exist.

Check the solution database customizing with the diagnosis tool: CRMC_SAF_TOOL
