SOLMAN_SDCCN_ACTIVAT - Activate the Service Data Control Center

In this IMG activity,

You can activate the Service Data Control Center either from the SAP Solution Manager system or by using the built-in activation function in the local system. If you use the SAP Solution Manager system, you can activate the Service Data Control Center for each individual system or for several systems in your landscape at once. The Service Data Control Center will only need to be activated once after it has been installed.

You will need the SAP_SDCCN_ALL (Administration, change setup) role in the satellite system.

If you activate the Service Data Control Center from the SAP Solution Manager,

1.,,Call the SAP Solution Manager System Landscape (transaction SMSY).

2.,,Choose Goto Solution Manager Operations Administration SDCCN.

A dialog box is displayed showing the connected systems and their status.

Systems that can be activated are indicated by an Activate icon. Activated systems are indicated by Execute icon in the Call SDCCN column.

To add a system to the overview, choose Add.

Note that a system must first be maintained in transaction SMYS before it can be added here.

For systems to be activated, the most recent version of the ST-PI Add-On (ST-PI 2005_1_) must be installed.

3.,,To activate the Service Data Control Center, double-click its Activate icon.

When the SAP Solution Data Manager is activated, an Execute icon will be displayed.

4.,,To access the Service Data Control Center in a system, double-click its Execute icon.

For more information, choose the I button to display the Help for the dialog box.

If you do not have access to the production system, the Service Data Control Center can be activated locally on the satellite system.
