In this activity, you define which CRM transaction type you wish to use for the creation of Incidents.

You must have already created the transaction type you wish to use.

Note: We recommend you copy one of the transaction types which SAP delivers, such as SMIN, into your own name space, for example ZMIN. This will ensure that the customizing changes which you make to your own transaction type will not be overwritten by SAP updates.

  1. Select the table entry with Field Name PROCESS_TYPE and choose Details.
  • By default, either the transaction type SLFN or SMIN is entered as the Field Value.

  1. Replace the default transaction type with the transaction type you wish to use (for example, ZMIN).
  • In case you would like to use more than one transaction type, you can create several entries with Field Name PROCESS_TYPE_ADD and enter the transaction types as Field Value.

  1. Save your entries.
