When you are using an external test management tool, you can create test plans and test cases for a Solution Manager project there, and execute and monitor tests. The project structure or the documents can already be transferred there in the Blueprint phase. The external test management tool contains the tests in test projects.

In the integration of IBM Rational Test Management tools, the Solution Manager project is linked with a project in the IBM Rational SAP Connector. This in turn is connected to the individual IBM tools.

You activate the integration of the IBM Rational Test Management tools for test and incident management in the following activities.
