For consistent communication with the external system in both directions, for Test Management as well as for Service Desk Integration, a grouping of the different logical ports and the respective service end points to be used must be defined in Solution Manager.

You have created the two service end points for Service Desk Integration and the two logical ports for Test and Incident Management.

  1. Create a new entry.
  2. Enter the following information:
  • Logical port for Test Management (field LP_TEST_MGT using the F4 help)

  • Logical port for the Service Desk Interface (field LP_SERVICEDESK using the F4 help)

  • Service end point for the Service Desk Interface (service ICT_SERVICE_DESK_API)

  • Service end point for the Advanced Service Desk Interface (service IAGS_SD_ADAPTER_API)

  1. Save.
