The toolbar of the component SAP Solution Manager Incident Management ,in the CRM UI, has a menu item Actions which can start PPF actions. The menu item Actions is only shown if at least one of the following conditions is fulfilled:

  • The action #Forward Messages Automatically# (<action profile>_MSG_DISPATCH) is active in the action profile. This action then appears in the drop-down list box in the menu.
  • The name of the filter value of at least one action in the action profile is in the action white list in the table AGS_WORK_CUSTOM.
  • At least one action based on the processing method Smart Forms Mail, is active.

A white list specifies which actions the CRM UI contains, because some actions are not compatible with the CRM UI. To show customer-specific actions in the CRM UI, the following criteria must be satisfied:

  • The user can perform the actions manually, in dialog (see action definition).
  • The actions call no SAP GUI functions, such as transactions, dialog boxes or navigation to URLs. Such GUI functions are not compatible with the CRM UI.

If your customer-specific actions satisfy these criteria, make an entry in AGS_WORK_CUSTOM:

  • IM_CRM_UI_PPF_<sequence_number> ,,<action filter value>
  • IM_CRM_UI_PPF_01,,,,Z_AKTION_FILTER_01
  • IM_CRM_UI_PPF_02,,,,Z_AKTION_FILTER_02
