In this IMG activity, you define the basic hierarchy for the product type service with assignment of set types.

Underneath the service hierarchy, on the first category level, you create only one category and you do not assign it any set types yet. On the second level, you create a category for the service products. The system automatically assigns SAP set types to the category. You can manually change this assignment after executing this IMG activity.

No basic hierarchy is available for the service product type.

1. Run report AI_CRM_IM_CREATE_HIERARCHY.
2. Check the identifiers of the hierarchy and categories and adjust them as necessary.
3. Check the short name of the hierarchy and categories and adjust them as necessary. Note that the names for hierarchies and categories are created automatically only in the logon language.
4. Choose Execute.
5. In CRM WebClient UI, choose Products -> Search: Product Hierarchies and check the newly created basic hierarchy for service products. You can also do the following here:

• Manually set up a hierarchy

• Manually edit an existing basic hierarchy and subdivide the hierarchy further

• Create names in different languages

• Assign and remove set types and relationship types
