SOLMAN_SET_BI_CLIENT - Set-Up SAP BW Client

You must specify your own BW client, to be able to perform BW analyses, as follows:

• if you use BW (Business Intelligence), this should be your BW client.

• if you do not use BW, you can also perform BW analyses:

• in your production Solution Manager client. You must adjust the Solution Manager sizing. See the sizing guide in the Service Marketplace -> SAP Components -> SAP Solution Manager.

• in a copied Solution Manager client.

To set-up a copied client as BW client:

1. Copy the client.
2. Maintain the BW client as logical system.

1. Run function module RS_MANDT_UNIQUE_SET by choosing Function Module → Test → Execute Single Test from the menu.
2. Enter the BW client as the value for parameter "i_mand".
3. Choose Execute.
