SOLMAN_SICFASSIGNUSE - Create Alias for Business Server Pages

This IMG activity creates an external alias to enable SAP Solution Manager users to display business server pages without needing to log on separately.

1. Choose Hierachy Type → Execute.
2. Choose External Aliases.
3. Choose default_host.
4. Choose External Alias -> External Alias Wizard.
5. Run the wizard and enter the required data:

• External Alias: /sap/bc/solman/defaultUser

• Description: e.g. "Solution Manager Default User"

• Service Target Element: default_host -> sap -> bc -> solman

The wizard has created the external alias.

1. Choose your external alias in the hierarchy tree.
2. Select "Logon Data Required" in the Logon Data tab.
3. Specify the user for http access that you have already created, e.g."CONTENTSERV".
4. Enter a password.

The password must be the same as for the user for http access.

You may need to choose Cancel to return to the external alias main screen.
