SOLMAN_SMSYSETUP_RFC - Data Transfer via TMS/RFC

The Transport Management System (TMS) only gets system name and client data, and software components in the systems, for systems in the transport domain. To get additional server and database data, set-up RFC connections from the Solution Manager to the satellite systems.

You have assigned a transport domain to the Solution Manager, or specified the Solution Manager system as the domain controller, in the Transport Management System (TMS).

The system generates IBase components, which you need for the Service Desk and Change Management scenarios, automatically. If you do not want automatic IBase generation:

1. Choose the transaction DNO_CUST04.
2. Deselect the field: IB_GEN_AUTO (Automatic IBase Generation).
3. Save.

1. Choose the source for automatic data transfer.
2. Choose Schedule Automatic Data Transfer.
3. Specify the period "Daily" in the job definition.
4. Schedule daily execution.

The system logs each data transfer. You can call the logs with Logs → Update Logs.

Note: You can control the system landscaoe data Update.
