Status Mapping is used to exchange messages with SAP. If you have reported an incident to SAP, when the status at SAP is updated, it is assigned to a user status which you specified.
This activity assigns CRM status in customer namespace to SAP status. This allows you to use your own status schema, and ensures smooth message exchange with SAP. If you do not a status schema, you do not need to make any assignments.
You have specified a status schema.
- Go to change mode and choose New Entries.
- Enter the status profile or choose one from the input help.
- You can enter a second user status in the second column.
- Choose an SAP status from the drop-down list.
- Enter the user status in the last column.
- Save your entries.
The following entry shows how to assign the user status E0012. When an incident with status at SAP Customer Action is updated in the Solution Manager , the user status of the incident is set to E0012:
- Status profile: ZMIN0001
- Secondary status: -
- SAP status: Customer Action:
- User status: E0012
