If you do not work with work centers, you must adjust the Service Desk roles so that only those transaction variants you need are displayed in the roles of users.

  1. Enter the role SAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS in transaction PFCG and switch to change mode.
  2. Select the Menu tab page.
  3. Expand the node Role Menu -> Support Desk.
  4. Delete the following nodes:
  • Reported by me

  • Service Desk Message

  1. Save the changes.
  2. Go back.
  3. Enter the role SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE and switch to change mode.
  4. Select the Menu tab page.
  5. Expand the node Role Menu -> Support Desk.
  6. Delete the following nodes:
  • Reported by me

  • Service Desk Message

  1. Save the changes.
  2. Go back.
  3. Enter the role SAP_SUPPDESK_DISPLAY and switch to change mode.
  4. Select the Menu tab page.
  5. Expand the node Role Menu -> Support Desk.
  6. Delete the following nodes:
  • Reported by me

  • Service Desk Message

  1. Save the changes.

Note:

If you have already assigned these roles to users, in transaction PFCG run the User Comparison on the User tab page.

Note:

If you have already assigned users to these roles, perform the user comparison on the Users tab in transaction PFCG.
