This IMG activity checks your new internal number ranges for basis messages of type SLF1.

To ensure that the basis messages and the Solution Manager Service Desk message have the same number, the internal number range for the basis message must be the same as the Solution Manager Service Desk message external number range.

SAP delivers all message types which you need for the Service Desk. This IMG activity also specifies additional message types for the Service Desk, or changes the existing ones.

  1. Choose, in the transaction, View "Change Message Type": Overview → Message Type SLF1.
  2. Choose Goto-> Details.
  3. Check the internal number range 01.
  4. Check whether the action profile SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO is assigned . If not, assign it.
  5. Save.
