SOLMAN_SYST_INFORMAT - Information and Configuration Prerequisites

You must model your system landscape in the Solution Manager for all scenarios:

1. Specify the servers, databases and systems in your system landscape (managed systems) in the Solution Manager
2. Specify RFC connections between the Solution Manager and your managed systems
3. Specify system landscape with logical components and solution
4. Synchronize systems with SAP Support Portal
5. Get SAP components
6. Transfer data to SAP

If you use Adaptive Computing, you must connect it to the Solution Manager.

You must be authorized for your end users to be able to maintain the system landscape.

You have at least the minimum support package status in the managed systems.

See SAP note 987835 about solution landscape definition.

If you create new systems or change existing ones, in teh System landscape maintenance (transaction SMSY), the system creates the IBase components.
