Install TREX 7.0 (or higher) or use an existing TREX 7.0 (or higher) system.
A connection to TREX is relevant for the following functions:
- Solution Database (scenario: Service Desk)
- Search Index for Issue Management (scenario: Delivery of SAP Services)
Document Management uses the function SSR (Search Server Relationship) for document searches. The RFC connection is therefore set up differently from how it is for the solution database and Issue Management.
