SOLMAN_USER_MAN - Create Configuration Users for Managed Systems

Create users for to configure managed systems. You need a user in the managed systems with authorization for the following functions:

• Generate RFC connections (authorization object S_RFC)

• Generate trusted RFC connections (authorization object S_RFCACL, not in SAP_ALL). The user IDs must be the same in both systems to generate and use trusted systems.

• Create users and assign profiles and roles to them (transactions SU01 und PFCG)

• Role to configure Root Cause Analysis: SAP_RCA_ADMIN_CONF

1. Create a user role, or enhance an existing user role with the following authorization object, in all managed systems:

• Role for SU01 and PFCG (if you do not use the profile SAP_ALL)

• Authorization object S_RFCACL

Use the authorization object S_RFCACL with the value RFC_USER = ' ', to ensure the security of your system landscape.

You must create the same user (ID) in the Solution Manager system and the managed systems, for trusted RFC connections.
