If you manage several SAP customer numbers, and do not have overall (CCC) authorization for them, you must maintain the SAP customernumber for which each S user is authorized. The system can then get the S user for each SAP customer number. Activate the Business Add-In AI_SDK_SP_RFC_RP under the IMG node Several SAP Customer Numbers.

You need maintenance authorization for the authorization group AISU for this activity (authorization object S_TABU_DIS). The role SAP_SUPPDESK_ADMIN has this authorization.

If you only have one SAP customer number:

  1. Enter a Solution Manager (system) user in the User field.
  2. assign an SAP Support Portal contact person (S user without S), in the Contact Person field. The value help only shows entries if the background job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT has already run. If this is not the case, you have no value help, and manual entry causes a warning message, because the S user is not found. You should only assign the contact person for the system administrator user at first, and maintain the contact persons for all other project members when the background job has run.
  3. Save.

If you have activated the Business Add-In AI_SDK_SP_RFC_RP under the IMG node Several SAP Customer Numbers, the maintenance view contains an SAP Customer Number column. In this case, either:

  • Enter the SAP customer number of the user in the SAP Customer Number field, and assign its SAP Support Portal contact persons (S user without S) from the value help for the field Contact Persons. The value help shows all valid entries for the selected SAP customer number, or
  • Leave the SAP Customer Number field empty, and use the value help for the field Contact Person. The S users of all SAP customer numbers are shown. You can copy the customer number and the S user in one step.

Only one contact person can be assigned to a user per customer number. You must also enter an S-user per customer number in the table AISUSER for users with CCC authorization. If you set the parameter ONE_CCC_USER_FOR_ALL_CUST to ‚X‘ in the transaction DNO_CUST04, you only need to maintain the S-user for the CCC customer number. See SAP note 1443531.

To reduce the maintenance effort for the transaction AISUSER, you can:

  1. Run the program SOLMAN_CREATE_AIUSER_ENTRIES. It makes no updates in test mode, it shows possible errors and succesful updates. Deselect the test flag to create the entries.
  2. Use the program SOLMAN_COPY_AIUSERS, to copy a template user.
  1. Start program SOLMAN_CREATE_AIUSER_ENTRIES. It does not perform any updates in test mode but only shows possible errors and successful updates. Deselect the test indicator to create the entries.
  2. Use program SOLMAN_COPY_AIUSERS to copy a template user.
