The report AI_SDK_SP_GENERATE_BP creates users and/or business partners automatically in SAP Solution Manager.
You create business partners (reporters) and system users for all end users (key users). The report also automatically creates a link from the key user to your company. Then the business partner IDs are entered, according to their system authorizations, to ensure correct display when selecting a system. The report can automatically create an e-mail message with the generated password for the initial user logon. You can specify the time of the message in advance.
You have done the following:
- Created users of type "Referenz" in user data maintenance with the corresponding authorizations (transaction SU01)
- Checked whether there are business partners in the system with the external ID SP0001 (transaction BP)
- Configured SAPconnect
- Choose the report AI_SDK_SP_GENERATE_BP.
- Choose an SAP customer number if you want to restrict the action to one SAP customer number. Leave the customer number field initial if you want to perform the action for all SAP customer numbers. See IMG activity Maintain SAP Customer Numbers.
- Choose the other report parameters:
- Create Users: System users can be created automatically, using a reference user to indicate the authorizations to be assigned.
- A reference user is a general, impersonal user. The assignment of a reference user assigns additional authorizations. Reference users are used to give a lot of identical users (for example, Internet users), the same authorizations.
- Start the report.
- Note the external ID category value SP0002.
- You get a report accordingly.
