You can use service products to categorize services or use them in contracts, e.g. to show Service Level Agreements in the form of response times.

Create a Hierarchy

  1. Choose New Hierarchy.
  2. Enter the hierarchy ID AISDK_PROD and a descriptive short text.
  3. Choose the hierarchy created, by double-click.
  4. You can create further categories in this hierarchy to distinguish between product types. To create a category, choose New Category.
  5. Create the category with the name Root.
  6. Maintain the product type Material in the Category tab.
The system creates a root category, below which further categories can be created.
  1. Save.

Assign Hierarchy to an Application

  1. Choose the activity Assign Hierarchy to an Application.
  2. Choose the second item in the dialog structure at the left-hand side Assignments by Product Type for Application Product, by double-click.
  3. Choose the product type Material and assign the hierarchy AISDK_PROD to it.
  4. Save the settings.
