Only one user interface (UI) is authorization role-relevant per work center, SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_*. This role contains all authorizations which are relevant for the work center user interface.

You can adjust the authorization object SM_WC_VIEW, to control the views and tasks. See the Security Guide for SAP Solution Manager 7.1 in the Service Marketplace, under: http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Components -> SAP Solution Manager 7.1.

If you add views and tasks to your work centers, you can also control these via the authorization object. Activate the BAdI.

The BAdI implementation fills the F4 value help table for the authorization object.

To use the trace, you must activate the BAdI and go to the work center. The system puts the work center IDs in the value help table AGS_WORK_VIEW. You can then adjust the authorization object in the role.

To trace:

• in a development system, but also want authorization in your production system , transport the entries of the table AGS_WORK_VIEW.

• only in specified users, copy the attached code into your own BAdI implementation, and add user checks.

The delivered roles SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_* contain display authorization for all work center views and tasks per work center, for the authorization object SM_WC_VIEW.

Activate the BAdI.
