This IMG activity releases a web service which is used by SAP Productivity Pak by RWD to transfer documents to the Solution Manager system.

Use either a communication user for the web service, or use certificates, depending on the security settings.

  1. Choose Web Service Administration in the Business Administration tab.
  2. Enter the following data:
  • Search for: Service

  • Search term: AGS_PDP_INTEGRATION

  1. Choose the service and Apply Selection.
  2. Go to the detail screen in the Configuration tab, and create a service there.
  3. Enter the following data:
  • Service name: AGS_PDP_INTEGRATION

  • Description: AGS_PDP_INTEGRATION

  • Connection name: AGS_PDP_INTEGRATION

  1. You can then make the security settings in the detail screen:
    1. Select a service and Edit.
    2. Set the No Authentification flag in the Authentification Settings area.
    3. Enter the technical user and password under ABAP Service User.
  2. Save.
  3. Open the Overview tab in the service definition details.
  4. Open the link Open WSDL Document for Selected Connnection.
  5. Search for soap:address location.
This contains the path to the web service which you must specify in the SAP Productivity Pak by RWD configuration.
