SPP_DRP_REP_OR_BUY - BAdI: Define Repair or Buy Logic

The Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/DRP_REPAIR_OR_BUY is used in the application component Service Parts Planning (SPP).

You can use this BAdI to define the following elements of the repair-or-buy logic:

In the repair-or-buy function, there is a certain quantity of unserviceable products available for repair. Here you can define the number of defect products by which this quantity is to be reduced per day. The reason for this could be budget or capacity restrictions, for example.

You can calculate the number of periods for which the costs of a late demand coverage with repaired products and the procurement costs for serviceable products are identical. The system can then decide whether it makes more sense to repair unserviceable products and thus cover demand late, or to order serviceable products and thus cover the demand directly. The costs for late demand coverage are the costs you define per product and per period.

You have specified the costs for late demand coverage per product and per period in the location product master data on the SPP DRP tab page.

The BAdI is active in the standard system.

The BAdI is not designed for multiple uses.

The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
