In this activity you determine for which Infosets evaluation data is to be logged

Log data is recorded in the table Query Logging (AQPROT). Query day and time, the current user, the fields used and their values are recorded. With 'fields used', information on whether fields are used as selection or output fields and the selection options (=, > , <,...) they are being used with is also logged.

You can evaluate log data using user group /SAPQUERY/SQ and InfoSet /SAPQUERY/QUERY_LOGGING (in the global work area).

Example 1:

Logging all evaluations for InfoSet Exampleset1 in the standard work area.

  • Work area: _ (SPACE)
  • Infoset:Exampleset1

Example 2:

Logging all evaluations for InfoSets Exampleset1 and Exampleset2 in the global work area.

  • Work area: G (Line 1)
  • Infoset: ExampleSet1 (Line 1)
  • Work area: G (Line 2)
  • Infoset: ExampleSet2 (Line 2)

Example 3:

Logging all evaluations for all InfoSets in all work areas.

  • Work area: _ (SPACE) (Line 1)
  • InfoSet: * (Line 1)
  • Work area: G (Line 2)
  • InfoSet: * (Line 2)

No InfoSets for logging are entered in the standard.

Check the correct functions for the logging you have defined.

Also carry out an evaluation with an InfoSet entered for logging, and display the entries in the log table Query Logging (AQPROT).

  1. Take the entries in the work area and InfoSet fields correponding to the logging you want.
It is not possible to make a generic entry (*) in the work area field. If you want to log all evaluations, proceed as in Example 3.
  1. Save your entries.
