In this IMG activity you configure the search server relation that contains, among other things, information about the search engine and the RFC destinations used.
The definition of a search server relation is a prerequisite for the creation of an index category.

  • TREX 7.10 (SAP NetWeaver Standalone Engine Search and Classification TREX 7.10) is installed as in the installation guide for RFC connections.
  • The RFC destination is created in the SAP system using the TREX administration tool (at operating system level).
  • An SAP gateway instance is installed if no SAP system exists on the host.

  • Execute the activity.
  • Choose Create SSR.
  • In the following dialog box, enter a key/name in the Search Server Relation ID field.
  • Choose Create SSR.
  • In the Search Engine field, enter the name of the search engine (DRFUZZY).
  • In the RFC Destination (TCP/IP) field, enter the name of the RFC destination created previously using the TREX administration tool.
  • In the Description field, enter a description of the search server relation.
  • Choose Save.
You return to the previous dialog box.
  • Select the newly created search server relation in the table.
  • Choose Set SSR as Default.
  • Confirm the following query about creating index categories by choosing Yes.
The search server relation is then flagged as a default in the table.
