In this IMG activity, you can specify the activities and activity functions for the circular.

Activity: The user who creates a process route must assign an activity to each process route item. In this IMG activity, you can define the activities that this user can choose from.

Activity function: The user who executes a process route item can use pushbuttons to choose an activity function for the activity. For example, the activity Signature has the activity functions Sign, Sign Under Condition, Do Not Sign, or Not Responsible. In this IMG activity, you can define the activity functions that the user can choose from.

SAP delivery model customizing settings. You can modify and enhance this settings.

Maintaining the Activities

Make the following entries:

  • Activity:
Unique name for the activity:
  • Activity description
  • Task:
Workflow task for performing a step in the circular.
You can enter the task TS75507961. This a workflow task delivered by SAP for performing the steps in the circular.
  • Class:
Class that implements the individual steps of the circular
You can enter the class CL_SRM_DIS_WFPATH_ACTIVITY. This is an ABAP class delivered by SAP. You can use it when you implement the process route in a Records Management circular. You can also enter your own class. This class must implement the interface IF_SRM_DIS_WFPATH_ACTIVITY.

Maintaining the Activity Functions

Select the activity for which you want to create an activity function, and choose Maintain. Make the following entries:

  • Activity:
Technical name of the activity for which you want to create activity functions.
  • Activity function:
Unique name for the activity function
  • Function:
Text for the activity function. This text appears on the pushbutton that the user sees when performing the activity.
  • Output:
Text for the output of the activity function. This text appears in a second hierarchy level below the element the activity relates to, after the user has selected the approriate pushbutton This is how the execution of the process route item is documented.
  • Icon:
Icon that appears next to the text on the pushbutton.

Note: You can create any number of activity functions for an activity.
