In this IMG activity, you can define which document and version attributes are used in searches for archived documents and records.

The archive structure SAP_RM_GSP_ATTR must be activated. The structure also needs to be filled with the data from the archive runs whose documents/records are to be made accessible by the attribute search. These actions are performed using transaction SARJ. For further information about the archive information structure, see application help for transaction SARJ.

By default, the attribute search is not configured.

In the standard system, an archive information structure SAP_RM_GSP_ATTR is delivered for archiving object SRMGSP. This information structure is based on field catalog SAP_RM_GSP_ATTR. This archive information structure allows you to search for documents and records based on the document attributes or versions of your choice. To adapt the attribute search for specific customer requirements, Customizing settings need to be made as described below.

1. Activate archive information structure SAP_RM_GSP_ATTR and build the corresponding structure (transaction SARJ).

2. Make entries in the Customizing table fields:

  • Element type ID: Element type ID of the archived documents that are to be accessed by attribute searches in the archive.
  • Name of the attribute: Name of the searchable attribute (such as CREATED_BY, CREATED_AT)
  • LOIO attribute: Defines whether the attribute is an LOIO attribute (= 'X') or a PHIO attribute (= ' ' )
