In this IMG activity you can create and edit keyword catalogs.

The keyword catalog is a collection of keywords. This catalog is used to select the values of the attribute keyword) for documents and records. Users can also search enter keywords to search for a document or record.

You can access and edit keywords that have already been defined from the selection list

To create a new keyword, choose the Create icon. Enter a technical name and description for the keyword catalog. Then specify the properties of the keyword catalog. You can display the descriptions of the checkboxes by choosing F1 help on the individual fields.

To create keywords for the catalog, choose For Catalog Maintenance.

A keyword catalog may contain a list of invalid terms as well as a list of valid terms. Using the selection list in the top right of the screen you can specify which list you want to maintain.

The keyword catalog may have as many hierarchy levels as you want. To add a new keyword, place the cursor on a node and choose Insert Keyword Belowor Insert Keyword Above. In the Edit group box you can enter the keyword and a description for it. If you select the green checkmark on the right the keyword will be copied to the keyword catalog.

The Selected Keywords group box is not relevant when you are creating the keyword catalog.
