SRP_BASIC_5 - Define Excess Capacity Profiles

In this IMG activity you define profiles that can be used when either scheduling excess capacity alerts to run, or when running them manually. For this profile, you define the following:
- Profile ID and description
- Look ahead time and time unit
- Capacitive threshold percent
This profile is then provided with a service area when either scheduling the excess capacity alert reports via SAP Scheduler, or running the reports manually.
1. Select an existing entry to modify its values, or choose New Entriesto define a new overtime limits profile.
2. Define or modify the following fields in the Resource Excess Capacity Alert table:
| Field | Description / Use |
|---|---|
| Profile ID | A unique identifier for the profile. |
| Look Ahead Time | The amount of time in the future for which alerts will be generated. For example, if the report is scheduled to run at 12:00 PM with a look ahead / time unit of 18 hours, the report would query for excess capacity between the period of 12:00 PM on the current day to 6:00 AM the following day. |
| Time Unit | Units in which the Look Ahead Time are measured. |
| Capacitive Threshold | A value that determines the point at which an alert will be generated. For example, if the capacitive threshold is set at 25% and the report queries from the time of 12PM to 12PM the following day and the percentage of excess capacity is 27%, an alert will be generated. |
| Description | A short description of the profile. |
