Activate/Disactivate Terminologies

A terminology consists of a collection of texts that replace the original texts if the terminology is activated.

Using this activity, you can activate and deactivate terminologies and thus set the system status.

The system status is a system local setting and cannot be transported.

The system status is defined by layers. Each layer defines a terminology. The following applies: The higher the number of the layer, the higher the priority of the texts.

You can add and delete layers with the corresponding push buttons. Use Drag&Drop to change the order of the layers.

If the layers are correctly arranged you can save this setup using the "Save" pushbutton and activate it using the "Activate" pushbutton. The activation starts a background job that performs the text replacements. During activation, the original system status is displayed again. If you refresh the display after the job has finished, the new (now current) system status is displayed and you see the replaced texts in the affected transactions.
