ST_MM - Materials Management: Incoming Invoices

In the following Customizing activities, you maintain settings to determine the service category for inbound invoices based on various parameters for service tax reporting purposes.

Note

The Materials Management (MM) views for service category determination defined here are currently not used anywhere, since the Service Tax (J_1I_ST3) report does not use them.

If you determine the service category for an inbound invoice for each combination of material, tax code, and vendor, then the system does not allow you to determine the service category on the basis of any other parameters.

Note

The service category determination is designed on the lines of Access Sequence. That is, if you determine the service category at the first level, then the subsequent levels are ignored.
