SWF_CPWF_INB_OAUTH - Maintain OAuth 2.0 Client

The APIs of SAP Cloud Platform Workflow service are called using REST and use OAuth 2.0 with client credentials flow. You must maintain an OAuth 2.0 client configuration for each connected instance of the workflow service with the information provided in the service key of the service instance. The service key can be obtained from the SAP Cloud Platform cockpit.

Required authorization object S_OA2C_ADM

1. Choose the activity icon to start the OAuth 2.0 client configuration (transaction OA2C_CONFIG). This opens a new browser window.
2. To create a new OAuth 2.0 client, choose Create.
3. Choose SWF_CPWF_INB_OAUTH_PROFILE as the OAuth 2.0 client profile.
4. Choose any configuration name, for example, the name of the subaccount of your service.
5. For the client ID, enter the JSON value of $.uaa.clientid from the service key.
6. Choose OK.
7. For the client secret, enter the JSON value of $.uaa.clientsecret from the service key.
8. Under Authorization Server Settings, enter your endpoint in the format /oauth/token in the Token Endpointfield. Your data center URL can be taken from the JSON value of $.uaa.url in the service key.
9. Under Access Settings, make the following settings:
1. Client Authentication: Form Fields
2. Resource Access Authentication: Header Field
3. Grant Type: Client Credentials
10. Save the OAuth 2.0 client configuration.
