Configuration of ABAP language version for software components

Each ABAP program has one ABAP language version as a program attribute. The version of a program specifies which language elements and which repository objects can be used in the program and which syntax rules apply.

Usually all ABAP program have ABAP language version “Standard - ABAP (Unicode)”.

This function is obsolete. The activity now only allows you to delete existing entries. The configuration of the ABAP language version for software components is now derived from the component type instead.
