S_CBO_FEATURES - Switch Custom Business Object Features

This activity can be used to switch on/off one or more custom business object features. At present, only one custom business object feature is available. This is the multiple hierarchy feature. Other features might be added at a later time.

If the multiple hierarchy feature is not switched on, key users can add child nodes (subnodes) at level 1 only. Switching the feature on allows key users to add child nodes at level 2 and all subsequent levels. This could look like this:

Root node

> level 1 subnode1

> level 2 subnode1

> level 2 subnode2

> level 3 subnode1

> level 1 subnode2

It is not possible to switch the multiple hierarchy feature off for any business objects that have child nodes at level 2 or below. In this case it must remain switched on.

Note that it is not possible to generate the UI or to test the code if the multiple hierarchy feature is switched on.
