In this Customizing activity, you maintain the server settings for the coomunication between the back-end applications and SAP Jam. If nothing else, the default value , SAIL application, must be maintained. Other applications may have been defined and delivered with later SAP release.

SAP delivers predefined applications using the Social Media Integration in view CLBV_APPLI, along with the possible target servers in view CLBV_PLATF_DEF.

  1. For each application, assign the collaboration server that is addressed through REST communication.
For example, assign Service Provider Type: StreamWork, and Server: Jam Productive, for productive use of SAP Jam.
  1. Next, for each assignment, configure the following server settings:
  2. Ext. Application ID: The OAuth client registered through Customizing activity Register Application as OAuth Client
  • Consumer Key: The consumer key that you retrieved through Customizing activity Register Application as OAuth Client.

  • HTTP Timeout: If you need to set a timeout, implement SAP Note 1842666.
