S_CLB_GW_NOTIFY - Activate OData Service for Notification

In this Customizing activity, you can send SAP NetWeaver Gateway notifications to a collaboration platform that acts as a feed aggregator.

You have to specify new entries for each OData service for which notifications are distributed. If no entry exists for a service, no notifications are sent.

The following Customizing views are available:

• CLBV_GW_NOTIFY_S contains default settings that are delivered by SAP.

• CLBV_GW_NOTIFY_C is for enhancements or redefinitions of these default settings by the customer.

For more information, see SAP Note 1747394.

• The activity is only relevant if the current system acts as a SAP NetWeaver Gateway hub.

• In addition, a general activation of a target platform as a feed aggregator must be made in Customizing view CLBV_PLATF.

For the target service provider, enter the OData services that are included when sending notifications by specifying their external and technical service names. These must be the same names that have been registered in Customizing of SAP NetWeaver under Gateway -> OData Channel Development with IW_BEP -> Activate and Maintain Services.

Service Provider Type = SAP Jam

External Service Name = ACCOUNT_CSCS

Technical Service Name = /IWFND/ACCOUNT_CSCS

Send Notifications = All Notifications
