In this Customizing activity, you can maintain the client-specific settings for the communication with the Service Provider, for example SAP StreamWork.

SAP has already predefined and delivered the following definitions:

  • Server type 'StreamWork' and the supported methods at this platform (view cluster CLBVC_PTYPE)
  • Test and productive servers of StreamWork at view cluster CLBVC_PLATF_DEF
  • Concerning the authentication methods the following settings are predefined at view CLBV_PLATF_AUTH:
  • APPLI (application context) ==> OAUTH_10_SHA1
  • APPUSR (application context with user authentication) ==> OAUTH_10_SHA_3
  • USER (user context) ==> SAML_20

At view cluster CLBVC_PLATF, you specify each server that you want to connect to:

  • The proxy settings as defined at Define HTTP Service
  • SSL client identity as #ANONYM#, corresponding to the entry SSL client (Anonymous) of transaction STRUST
  • The name of the Service Provider, as communicated by the site administrator of SAP StreamWork
  • The StreamWork Enterprise Agent (SEA) as active
  • The valid authentication method for each authentication context
